Vision impairment is a public health concern, however, can be addressed with timely & simple interventions.
Ensuring affordable treatment in India has been the topmost priority of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji’s led Government.
Taking the agenda of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji forward, the mega Eye Testing Camps were hosted in District Hamirpur & Una, Himachal Pradesh.
Team of 51 doctors from different parts of the country
Doctors, Ophthalmologists/optometrists from various parts of the country such as Motilal Nehru Medical College – Prayagraj, LLRM Medical College – Meerut, SHKM Government Medical College – Haryana, S. N. Medical College – Agra, AIIMS Bilaspur – Himachal Pradesh, Tanda Medical College – Himachal Pradesh, Hamirpur Medical College – Himachal Pradesh, gave their services at the eye testing camp

Best of quality equipment and machines were made available at the eye testing camp to ensure accurate testing and diagnosis
Free numbered lenses spectacles & medicines to the patients:
To ensure that post testing and diagnosis, the patients got the suggested good quality, unbreakable spectacles with numbered lenses along with medicines, absolutely free of cost
9,562 OPDS & 6,735 spectacles distributed:
Over the course of two day camp at District Hamirpur & Una, Himachal Pradesh, a total of 9,562 OPDs were undertaken along with distribution of 6,735 numbered lenses spectacles
Post eye camp service:
A team of doctors will do a regular follow up with all the beneficiaries who attended the event to cater to any issues that they may face
