Sansad Khel Mahakumbh

Embarking on a journey to establish a vibrant sports culture while identifying and nurturing talent at the grassroots level, the Sansad Khel Mahakumbh was launched in May 2018 by Mr. Anurag Singh Thakur and Mr. Sachin Tendulkar. This pioneering rural sports tournament has rapidly become a cornerstone for promoting sports among the youth.

First of its kind of Sports Tournament focuses on the following aspects:

  • Provide a platform for athletes to showcase their skills
  • Promote sports at the grassroots level
  • Provide an opportunity for youth hailing from remote areas to pursue sports
  • Dissuade youth from falling prey to drugs
  • Put a check on obesity
  • Connect talent with opportunity

To ensure that the athletes get the best of the platform to showcase their skills alongside ample motivation to take up sports as a career, all the athletes are provided with playing kits, certificates, medals, merchandise, etc. Additionally, cash prizes are awarded for their achievements, across various sports disciplines.

 

The primary objective of Sansad Khel Mahakumbh is to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills, fostering a sense of discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition. The initiative is founded on the belief that sports possess a transformative power, capable of instilling values that transcend mere athletic performance. It is firmly believed that participation in sports contributes significantly to the holistic development of the youth, shaping them into well-rounded individuals both on and off the field.

Building on the success of the previous seasons, Sansad Khel Mahakumbh 3.0 has been launched by ace cricketer & the captain of the Indian cricket team Rohit Sharma along with Indian Cricket Team Coach Rahul Dravid, in the august presence of Mr Anurag Singh Thakur.
